Its a normal morning, change diapers, make sure our 3 year old potties before putting on the cartoons, milk is passed as fast as possible to 3 pairs of little hands and coffee is brewing.... ahhh now we can sit and have our coffee, right. What really happens scalding hot coffee is spilled from our oldest getting too excited when a song comes on and isn't paying attention, knocks into the coffee table and now has hot coffee poured down his jammies, he's screaming and I rip his shirt off as fast as possible, bring him in the kitchen grab tomato slices (that I had pre sliced for my lunch at work the night before) and smear tomatoes all over his arm and chest, yes you think this is crazy but it works! 1 minute later I wash him put him in a dry shirt, re pour my husbands coffee and finally get to drink our first cup of joe. Oh the day when you could wake grab your coffee and sip it in utter silience...
Tip 1: When you get a burn grab a tomato, slice it fast and put it directly on your burn (I learned this when I use to work in restaurant, when I pulled rolls out of the oven and burned myself the cook handed me a tomato slice I put it on the burn and no blister, sounds crazy I know but it works!) My 3 year old has no blisters or red marks from a cup of hot coffee that accidentally spilled on him, I slathered him with tomatoes and 10 hours later nothing no blister or anything go figure.
